Why is that pro-lifers feel that they should be able to separate their tax dollars from Planned Parenthood, just because they are personally anti-choice? I didn't know taxes were optional. I wish my taxes didn't pay for wars, or oil subsidies, or old men's Viagra, but as far as I know, there's no "check here if you agree" box on the 1040. Abortion is supposedly a constitutionally-protected legal right in this country, and as such should be funded and accessible. I appreciate that some people have other opinions, but "legal" or "not legal" is not a decision that is made individually, and neither should "fund it" or "don't fund it" be.
