I'm watching the show as I write - Elizabeth is upset that Kyra "outed" Adam Lambert - however Adam himself posted very intimate pictures of himself, dressed in Drag kissing another man, on this link: [url has been removed] So he has made it quite clear he wants the World to know he is Gay.
My opinion is to each his own, however on this subject, do it with dignity, not to post crude pictures on the internet, then wonder why he wasn't chose as the American Idol winner.
American Idol's image demands a young, talented, clean cut (length of hair, color, cut matters not) whether the contestant is Gay or Heterosexual should not matter - however again, posting crude pictures of oneself on the internet, can mean winning or losing.
I hope you all will make comment on the show now. Adam doomed himself.
I am very disappointed with Kara for discussing the sexuality of Adam Lambert on national TV. If he had anything to say it would have come from his mouth. I don't care if Adam is gay, bisexual or whatever. That has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he is by far the best singer I have heard since th 70's. The man has charm, charisma, personality and is so good looking it doesn't matter to me. I have watched American Idol again and again to hear Adam sing. His voice is unbelievable. That is surely a blessing from God. I disagree with Sofia about the "image" of an American Idol winner. Why does the winner have to be clean cut? Adam was unique. His talent is all that should have mattered. Losing to Kris was no big deal. No offense to Kris but there are singers with his style a dime a dozen. Every now and then a singer comes along and blows people away and that singer was Adam. I pray Adam goes on to become the superstar he deserves to be. I'll be the first one in line to buy his CD the moment it is released. Good luck to you Adam. What I saw was a real gentleman. You made me smile every week and always had my votes. You are awesome the way you are and don't let anyone change you. Believe in yourself!
