December 16th, 2011, 12:46 pmDear Ladies,
Wow! That little four minute clip is sure to spark some controversy.
First off, please note, I am an adult entertainer, who uses both phone and cam. Yes, I am a mother however, I do not have children living at home.
Secondly, and you may be surprised, I do agree with Sherri's opinion and feel as a parent it is her responsibility to decide where and with whom her child spends time.
And also, I was a bit taken aback by Joy's stereotypical portrayal of PSO's in general. Because I do phone with cam shows, I do not answer the phone in my house dress and hair curlers. It amazes me the number of people (women mostly) who feel its a job that anyone can do, or can succeed at. Like most other forms of gainful employment, it can be a fun job and yes it's quite interesting. However, it is not a matter of pick up the phone, moan, and miraculously money just appears in your bank account. Its long days, tough hours and cut-throat competition.
I would like to challenge Joy to delve deeper into the life - career of a "real" phone sex operator and dissuade some of those myths that circulate around this occupation and the women (and men) who choose to engage in it.
Sincerely, Lee

December 16th, 2011, 7:21 pmSometimes I think Sherri says things totally without thinking. Elizabeth asked would she let her son go over to a house with a playmate where the mom was a phone sex operator.Sherri said No because had a roommate that was a phone sex operator and the woman had all her stuff laying around.Come on now, when is she talking about back in college years. Of course stuff probably was laying around, I'm sure there were no kids around if those two were roommates. She couldn't have been talking about times when people are married with children. If a woman has that kind of job these days, I'm sure it is so well hidden that Sherri probably has friends now that do it and she don't even know. So to say you wouldn't let your child go over to someone's house with a playmate because their mother has that kind of job is ridiculous Sherri. If it were my child and the woman is a responsible parent that just happens to have a job as a phone sex operator, Yes I would allow it! Its a JOB...a JOB...a JOB! That would be like me not allowing my child to play with a kid whose mom works at an abortion clinic because I don't believe in abortions...its a JOB Sherri!

December 16th, 2011, 10:51 pmFirst of all I cannot picture my mother doing something like that. In this computer and electronic age, bad people who can hack can do just about anything, like find out where you are through the high speed Internet line. Just remember, as in my set up, everything including the phone jacks are tied to the router. So if you turn on some guy enough you may find him at your door, or in the driveway.

December 17th, 2011, 3:57 pmI am one of the phone sex operators Elizabeth interviewed for the GMA segment slated to air this Monday. I can not thank Whoopi Goldberg enough for having come out as strongly as she did as a PSO advocate, having been one herself. She was right about me keeping paperwork (and other things) out of sight from prying eyes and closed minds like Sherry's. You really can not compare a single lady living alone to a mom with a separate office. In response to Joy's question about paperwork, part of the job is "ooh baby baby" but there is considerably more. I write all my own ads, listings, social network postings, promotions and blogs. Before approaching the keyboard, I do my work the old fashioned way, with pen and paper. I also keep records on specific callers and what their preferences are. These are examples of paperwork involved in the business side of what I do, just to answer Joy's question about that. Once again, I must thank Whoopi Goldberg for taking a stand like she did. I have been a fan for many years and it means a lot to publicly have her seal of approval for doing what I do.

January 11th, 2012, 8:47 amI am a PSO and a single mother to a ten-year old girl. I must say this is the best job that I have ever had. I make my own schedule, work while my daughter is in school and still take care of what needs to be taken care of. And yes, I am extra care not to leave anything job related around where she can see it or do any calls around her.
I love my job!!!!! Judge me if you want...that's your jealousy talking!!!!!
