for Elisabeth: I usually do not do this kind of thing but I am a loyal fan of the View and as I watched today's episode on psychics and astrology etc. I was disappointed to see the way you treated the tarot card reader. I understand and commend you for standing firm on your religious beliefs as I am also a christian and strong in my faith, yet, you can stand firm without being disrespectful. I also understand if you were uncomfortable with the mentioning of your baby and the sex by this woman but the response was rude and uncalled for. You stated that you did not need her and her spooky cards to inform you of it and that was insulting. It isn't a major deal but it really came off as plain mean on your part. Whether you are a supporter and beleiver in these tarot readings this woman was a guest on your show and deserved to be respected and not insulted. I do not know what may have gone on while the cameras were off or if you had your reasons to give that response but it was simply inappropriate and hurtful. I LOVE THE VIEW AND ALL OF YOU BUT KINDNESS AND RESPECT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO ALL WHETHER WE AGREE WITH THEIR PRACTICES AND BELIEFS OR NOT.

John, I was impressed with the restraint you displayed on the View today with the non-belivers/only want to hear what they want to hear folks. You were given the gift of what I see as peace of mind. When you know something is coming that you could not bear, you can make adjustments to avoid the worst from happening then that lifts the seamingly weight off the shoulders. I encourage you to move forward with your gift and continue to bring good sprited people into your circle to share their gift as well.

I think after watching today's show with John Edwards and company, that Joy, Elisabeth and especially Sherri showed what we do not want to see on TV. Intolerance, insulting conversation,ignorance, being of a closed mind and down right rude.
Kudos to Whoppi. Open mind, enthusiastic, truthful and tolerant.
I wrote Hasselbeck off during the campaign. She is opinionated, rude and never listens when anyone talks. She needs to get some more life under her belt before she insults anyone else.
I am not thrilled that she was once a Rhode Islander.
I never thought that I would write Sherri off. She showed her true colors today. Rude, Rude Rude. Intolerant, ignorant and self righteous. Her mind is so closed off I am surprised that she can even think. What a shocker todays show was.
IF she thought she was being funny, she needs to get a reality check. Joy just went in with a closed mind. I am really surprised at her.
Can anyone tell me why these three women did this show?
I watched this show every day.
If I watch now, it will only be because of Whoppi and Barbara.

I agree with Layla_Michelle! Elisabeth, you did not have to be that rude! Its was completely disrespectful!! I also have a problem with the way Sherri was acting. At first, I thought she was being her funny self, but then I realized that she wasn't playing around and I thought it was just plain inappropriate! This man has his beliefs and so do you, I understand, but if this was the way you felt you shouldn't have done the reading with him!!! You were VERY MEAN and I was surprised by that because you usually have your opinions and you respect others and what they believe. I was shocked today by the both of you and I don't know if I will continue to watch your show. I love all the ladies on The View, but when someone acts like that and their supposed to be adults, it bothers me. You have to be nice and respectful to your guests, as long as their being respectful towards you, period. I hope that you both apologize to them.
