It's Christmas Eve, and The View's Last Minute Thrown Together Christmas Special started off with Whoopi at Walt Disney World. She took us on a behind-the-scenes look at Disney World while she was the narrator for the recent Candlelight Processional at Epcot Center. Boy, does Disney know what Christmas is all about!
Mario Cantone is one of The View's favorite elfs, and he was here to talk about Santa's "Don't Ask, Don't Elf" policy. Mario also sang a melody of Christmas tunes from an array of different performers.
The new holiday trend this season is throwing "ugly sweater parties," where the rule is: the more over the top, the better. The View had a festive fashion (?) show right here on our stage with some of the best sweaters ever. We saw so many amazing designs that these sweaters will not be forgotten. If you haven't gone shopping for your Christmas party yet, don't panic -- because the author of Merry Christmas America, Bruce Littlefield, was here to show us that everything we need is in our house.
Marc Summers is the host of Food Network's Unwrapped -- and today, he stopped by to chat about all the must-have Christmas treats. The best thing about all these goodies was that everyone in our studio audience took it all home!
One of the best surprises of the show was when executive producer Bill Geddie surprised our audience by coming out dressed as Santa Claus. He brought a great giveaway with him: The Litl Webbook is perfect to watch the news and your favorite shows, or store videos and photos, and everyone took one home!
