jobs in a small town are rare, you have to know someone.
I'm somewhat disappointed that both "The View" and "GMA" have been touting selling your crafts on line as an easy way to make extra money. Frankly, I think it borders on irresponsible. Any artist/crafter who not only sells handmade items on their own website as well as on Etsy.com, such as myself, will tell you there is a heck of a lot more to it then what is being reported. The arts and crafts business is a vital part of the American economy, and often portrayed as as easy way to make money. I also do the craft show curcuit, and I'm here to tell you there is nothing easy about this profession. Rewarding, yes. Easy, no. I sure would like to see a much more in depth piece on those of us who make a living as artists and crafters. You can make money, you can love your job, but a great deal is left out of these "work from home" pieces.
I NEED HELP!! I watched your show today on ideas for stay at home moms.. I currently have a part time job as a loan officer - commission only - and have not had a paycheck in almost 4 months! My husband was laid off and is now working for $26k a year just so we can have medical benefits for our 1 year old daughter. I am 34 years old and was hoping to have another child soon, but lately my husband has implied he isnt sure about having another baby because of our financial situation. I completly understand, but we really want our daughter to have a sister or brother. Ive been looking for something to do from home and have spent money, only to learn I had been scamed!! I dont want to be a party hostess selling garden stuff, and I do not have clutter to sell on e-bay. Can you recommend anything else I can do from home while taking care of my daughter? I saw Google has something called Google Home BUsiness Kit - do you know if this is legit? How do I find something legit?!? I cant afford to pay our mortgage this month let alone be taken by another scam!! PLEASE HELP!!
I did not like the show today. There was no gossip or mention of Micheal Jackson's death, or Farrah Facetts. Lately their has been no spark to the show's like their use to be. I think this show was the woerst because their isn't any jobs for too many people. Talk about how so many people are claiming unemployment, or how many children are suffering because of our economy. You have these big rich, hosts that are telling us how to get a job. What do they know? They have money. They sell their books. Alot of people do not have experience at all? Wal-Mart...lol...minimum wage...Ha!
I just have to see that yes sekking your homemade items is hard but so is everyother job in the world right now. we are hit hard by the poor economy because we as americans have been use to an easy life. So i'm sorry if you find it offensive but don't be so lazy. every job is going to be harder than the last until we are finacially stable again.....And who knows when that will be.
Gosh so many need help, you can contact me if you want to see what I do, to help out with our income.
If you like to be creative, and love to take pictures, this is something that is doing very well. mypicturesincards dot com. Love to share it and see if this will help anyone.
I want to work from home. I was thinking of doing a costume jewelry site, but I don't know how to get started. If I can sell from a company already set up that would be great, but again I don't know how to get started. Can you please give some information on how to go about a business from home. I was in an accident and I won't be able to go back to work, so working from home would be ideal for me.
Any infor would be appreciated.
To those commenting on the lack of mention of Michael Jackson this was a taped (possibly even repeat) episode. They like 3 day weekends so Fridays are often a pretaped show.
I'm really intrested .in some really legit ways to how to hake money at home. I live off of a limited income so if anyone could help.I heard about the Direct sales. Could someone tell me more about that thanks.
I sell jewelry with a direct sales company and absolutely love it. It allows me to stay home and work at my own hours. if you want to make the big money, you will need to work VERY HARD, comitting to at least 20 hours a week. Sound easy, well, finding the energy to be upbeat for that amount of hours is not, so, it all depends on what you do with it. I do make 50% of my sales is what I get, and you don't even need an inventory. If your social and love to meet new people a direct sale company is fantastic! Thanks :)
I am a recently retired cosmetologist, and upon looking for a part-time job on line, I was bombbarded with all types of work from home deals. I tried two, it was such a waste of money...money that I should have kept in my pocket. I got so mixed up, that I continued to send "help me" to their emails. The 800 numbers kept me on hold for over 30 minutes, and I end up hanging up. But, it was a hard lesson to learn. The only good thing that came out of my mistake, was that I learned the "language" of the fast pitch, easy money, and all the testimonials the was on the websites. I am through with it, and do not recommend it to anyone trying to work from home. Just remember that you get nothing for FREE. FREE means to buy into something. DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE. Chaseit14
I too saw the Google Home Business Kit advertised. I looked into it and saw peoples comments. From what I read, you are to send only $3.00 and receive a kit. Apparently there are other costs and the free trial lasts only a few days before you are charged the full amount. I believe it was around $75.00. The other problem is that these people said they had waited two weeks or more and still have not received their kit and because the trial period starts even before you receive your kit, these people have already been charged the full amount. I hope this helps.
