Hottest Halloween Costumes

November 26, 2009 | Posted at 8:41 AM

From The Wizard of Oz to Twilight to Octomom, Katrina Szish, Editor In Chief of PinkMemo.com gave us an inside look at this year's hottest halloween costumes.

She's been a hot topic at our round table and a guest co-host ... now, Kate Gosselin is also one of the year's biggest Halloween inspirations:

Fans lined up to check out the latest film in the Star Trek franchise. They're lining up to snag their Star Trek costumes too:

From the bookshelves to the big screen, vampires are taking over:

Still stuck on ideas for Halloween? Pirates are always a great choice:

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the franchise Wizard of Oz -- and a costume is the perfect way to celebrate:

Star Trek may have been a major movie release this year -- but Star Wars is an always classic costume idea.

One of this year's biggest news stories, Nadya Suleman, will probably be back in the spotlight after this Octomom-inspired costume hits the streets.

Kids look cute BUT, parents ought to be concerned about costumes made outside of the U.S. and those lips that Chloe wore. Are you aware that last year, lead was found in fake lips kids wore for Halloween. You really ought to have someone on from Green Halloween to talk about costumes, treats etc. that are better for kids and the planet. (I am a part of Green Halloween, so not unbiased, but also know that thousands of parents across the country are interested in alternatives to conventional Halloween fare.)

the kids as well as the adults all looked great.... Halloween is for fun , a way to do something with your kids kinda on there level. But if you send your child to school wearing a pirate outfit or even something like a chef anything were the finishing touches includ anything that even remotely looks like a weapon, You will get a phone call and possibly a fine. all the schools in my area have what they call a NO WEAPONS POLICY and will throw your toddler out of school...happy halloween and beware of the 4 year old pirates.

last year, my friends and I were the cast of The View. The costume was a huge hit.
