Best of Last Week: Very Vampire Halloween
November 01, 2009 | Posted at 9:00 PM
We kicked the week off with a day full of Hot Topics.
The co-hosts talked about everything from President Obama's basketball and golf games to Ivanka Trump's wedding (Ivanka and mom Ivana will be on the show next week!).
Speaking of President Obama, Edward Norton joined the co-hosts on Wednesday to tell us about his new documentary tracking President Obama's road to the White House. Ed also shared how he's preparing for the New York City marathon.
Sherri went to the premiere of the Michael Jackson documentary This Is It this week and shared her experience with the co-hosts. Plus, Paul Anka explained the controversy behind Michael Jackson's new single "This Is It" and how it's all a big misunderstanding. Plus, Carson Kressley stopped by to show us how to make the most of our closets.
Wanda Sykes joined the co-hosts on Thursday and told us how life has changed since becoming a mom. Check out her Mom Confessional and then share yours!

I love your halloween outfit of Queen Akasha from Queen of the Damned and I was wondering where you got it from because, at my school I'm doing a ducktape outfit based on her and i wanted the outfit so I could see how to make it just like hers...you can email me at [contact information removed], thank you!!!!

November 2nd, 2009, 8:05 pmYou guys are getting nasty with the guests that you don't agree with politically. It seems that you can't have a good conversation without being rude. I understand that most of you don't hold the same points of view as them but you don't need to treat them like crap. I've seen some of you guys on FOX News and they have never treated you this way. As women with good heads on your shoulders you should know better!!

November 2nd, 2009, 9:30 pmThis was the funniest show. First I watched the show alone and laughed. Then I had to show my daughter the segment with Sherri going through the Vampire Museum. She laughed all the way through. Later, my husband and I were trying to find something to watch, I told him "you've got to watch this segment with Sherri." (We watched Sherri's show last week and laughed.) He watched her go through the Vampire Museum and laughed. We started talking and I told him how Whoopi got in Bill O'Reilly's face and he was like "Let me see that!" He was out of his seat agreeing with Whoopi. After that we HAD to watch Mario Cantone. We were both in tears from laughter especially when Barbara said "You know you're crazy?" and he said "Yeah, but I make a great peanut butter sandwich." AHHHHHHHH That makes me laugh just thinking about it. My 11 year old son wanted to know what we were laughing about. I think I'll show him Sherri in the Vampire Museum. As Always -- Kyle p.s. thanks for the letter to God about the dog, it really touched my heart.

November 3rd, 2009, 9:34 amI watched your discussion about the Christian family with 18 children who wanted to raise many Evangelical voters. I think when ever you have a discussion about anyone's religious views you should substitute Muslim, Jewish, etc. for Christian and see how your statements would hold up. I imagine Elizabeth's views would be different if the family were raising Evangelical Muslim voting American citizens and home schooling, the husband makes all decisions, etc. I think it is be a good test as to where anyone's views are coming from.

November 3rd, 2009, 10:22 amSorry but this one did not go well, I love Joy but she has really been in a bad mood lately!
Also The show has truly gotted slanted, poor Elizabeth. You may not want to hear this but there are other views other than democrat. Joy you have really gotten rude, whats wrong? You seem very unhappy.
The show is not the same without whoopie, she is the best and keeps things level, when Barbara is in charge the show blows! Sorry....
